After our house was flooded, my husband, 2 children and myself had to stay in a hotel and an apartment for 14 traumatic weeks. It was so stressful to be told for the last 2 weeks for our house to be finished we had to move to another apartment. Our insurers then booked us with Debbie and Ben Sussex Short Lets in Mill Road. As soon as we walked in, I felt so relaxed. It was very clean and fresh. The decor was modern and cosy, with plenty of throws and cushions, a soft comfy sofa and a lovely electric fire. The beds were amazingly comfortable with luxurious duvets and pillows and once again lovely throws and cushions. There was a decent tv on the wall with a virgin media basic package, which is a lot better than free view. The area is nice and quiet, and a few minutes walk to Tesco, Lidl,Iceland and train station. There isn’t anything negative I can say about this apartment. We feel that Debbie and Ben had gone above and beyond to make sure the stay as comfortable as possible, a home from home feel. We all enjoyed our stay at Mill Road it was a shame we wasn’t there for the whole 16 weeks.

We spent a week in this wonderful house during a very hot August - a real home from home. Absolutely beautifully and stylishly appointed with every home comfort you could need. I really liked the downstairs bedroom and shower room which was great for my parents and also the abundance of beds upstairs. The house is a beautiful large Victorian house. The lounge is elegant with huge windows and plenty of light, and very comfortable with 3 sofas The kitchen/breakfast room was very well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc and plenty of pots and pans for cooking dinner and breakfast when we were in and a large fridge freezer The outside space/patio, although small, was fine for sitting outside with a morning coffee or generally having some quiet time to read. With the two patio tables together it was just about big enough for the 7 of us to sit down to dinner one evening outside and the lights gave it a lovely ambiance. The house is perfectly positioned with Tesco Express a 10 minute walk away along with some other local shops including an artisanal Bakery (although closed when we were there) a nice bar and a lovely Polish/African shop. It was a 20 minute walk down to the centre of town and the sea front - so easy. In the evenings as it was so hot, we’d get a taxi down into the town and then walk home in the cooler evenings - it was lovely. We really liked Worthing - an elegant town with very friendly people. It was great to try so many of the individual restaurants for lunch and dinner and with the aid of Trip Advisor we chose some really excellent ones. There are many beautiful regency buildings and lots of leafy streets with plenty of trees. The sea front was lovely as an elegant English resort - definitely the new Brighton.. Debbie our host was lovely and met us on arrival to show us around the house. She was super quick and helpful at responding to our various questions and rustled up an additional patio umbrella within a couple of hours to shade us from the unusually hot English sunshine. All in all we had a brilliant week in a lovely house. We will certainly be back to both the house and Worthing

We had a lovely visit to Worthing staying at Seaside Stay visiting family for a week in February. The host couldn't do enough for us and ensured that we had milk in the fridge when we checked in. The house was spacious with a great seaside theme throughout - very calming. It was perfect for being so close to the high street and promenade, with parking available free after 6pm but we did use the multi-storey behind the house which was useful being so close to the centre of the town. The kitchen was bigger than expected and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be visiting Seaside Stay again as it was cozy and comfy and big enough for the 6 of us.

Thorn Studios - Worthing

These four studio flats are our most recent addition to our portfolio. They are all located in the same building conveniently above an all day cafe/restaurant. The flats are only a few metres away from the sea front and just a road away from the main high street of Worthing. These flats are great for a weekend away, group bookings and for contractors working away from home.  All studios come with…
